Our Story
Who We Are
Bodies on Point is a full-service acupuncture clinic and apothecary in the heart of the Whittier neighborhood in Denver. We believe that prevention is the best medicine. We want you to take control of your health and wellness and we can help you do that with acupuncture, East Asian herbs, cupping, gua sha, pilates, dietary recommendations, and massage. We’re here to keep you On Point!
Traditional East Asian Medicine rarely boils down to black and white. It is almost always some shade of grey. Therefore, it as much an art as a practice, which in turn requires constant attention, growth, discussion, and even a little bit of playfulness. It needs movement and fluidity to find its fullest expression and success.
At Bodies On point, we can address all of your health needs with Acupuncture, massage, and East Asian herbs.
Liz Burritt joined Bodies on Point in the fall of 2018 to add to our growing team of wellness providers.

I have been intrigued by acupuncture since visiting China in 1994, but never felt like I had a reason to seek out treatment. In 2009, my first son turned breech last minute and I used acupuncture to help me have a natural childbirth. I found acupuncture again while pregnant with my second son when I found myself a week late with his delivery. While getting a treatment, I decided I wanted to know more about how acupuncture worked, what else acupuncture could help with, and how acupuncture can prevent sickness and illness.
I am a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO, with my MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine and licensed in acupuncture. I have spent my entire life studying the body from being a dancer to being a pilates instructor to treating patients with acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. My life-long goal has been to help people get their health to the most optimum point. Prevention is the best medicine.
Liz Burritt
Massage Therapist
Having worked with my own body and other bodies as a dancer, a performer, and a dance teacher, I have relied on and reaped the benefits of those gifted and versed in the art of healing and restoring the body to its optimum state. During the twenty years, I was dancing with a modern dance company in San Francisco, I apprenticed with Stephen Coleman LAc, CMT, who is the master of keeping the dancers of the community on their feet and healthy. I fell in love with learning about the body, how it works, how to go about restoring it, when it is injured or impaired, and about how the body is interconnected with every other aspect of our complex selves.
When I returned home to Colorado, I decided to continue the journey. I am a licensed graduate of the Denver Integrative Massage School, where I furthered my study of Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques, as well as learned Thai, Thai for the Table, Myofascial Release, and Prenatal massage.
My ongoing desire and goal is to deeply listen to each person and their body and to work with them to find pathways to their optimum health.

Jackie is a Colorado state licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist. She graduated from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2021 with a Masters of Acupuncture and a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization.
She originally discovered Chinese Medicine while looking for relief from stress and symptoms of endometriosis—it completely transformed her life. Her interest in TCM was further solidified while working at New York Fertility Institute and Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. She saw the impact acupuncture had on fertility patients and wanted to combine her passion for reproductive health with the medicine that changed her own life.
In addition to reproductive health and fertility, Jackie has a strong interest in pain management, cosmetic acupuncture, sleep disturbances, and digestive trouble. Her main goal is to support her patients’ well-being while empowering them to take charge of their own health journey.
Jen Duffley
Pilates Instructor
Certified pilates instructor, Jen Duffley, began her fitness journey at a very young age. A former competitive gymnast and coach, Jen was trained to work diligently, developing a sense of confidence, and an eye for form and technique. This, she believes, is the foundation to achieving the best results with any activity. Incorporating patience and a calming mind-set, Jen encourages her clients to accomplish the ultimate: core strength and balance. Jen is passionate about finding that perfect combination of mind and body, and believes that any good fitness program should be challenging and integrative. Outside of her pilates life, Jen enjoys skiing, biking, yoga, and traveling. Jen continues to educate herself through PhysicalMind Pilates and passes this expertise on to her clients.
