I was visiting my BFF this past weekend, and she whipped me up her favorite homemade bars. I loved them and they are soooo easy! Below is the mix Shay uses. When the bars are set, cut and wrap in plastic or snack bags so you are ready for snacks on the go! Keep cool, they will melt a bit.
- 2 Cups of Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 Cup of Honey
- 1 Cup of any nut butter
- 3/4 Cup ground flax seeds
- 3 Tbsp Chia seeds
- 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds (or any chopped nuts)
- 1/2 Cup mini Chocolate Chips (or 1/2 c more chopped nuts)
- 1 Cup dried fruit
Mix all ingredients together with an electric mixer. Press firmly in to a greased 8″ or 9″ pan. Refrigerate until firm.
