I think we are safe to say that summer is here and we can all start REALLY enjoying the lighter foods! The foods we want to focus on now are bitter and cooling foods. They are going to cool and keep your fire elements under control. Some of these include what is probably popping up in your garden or picking up from your CSA this week! (Quick shout out to Delaney Urban Garden in Denver!!!) These foods might be spinach, escarole, endive, swiss chard, and of course, my favorite, KALE! Throw some spinach in your omelette and start your day On Point!
