My friends laugh and roll their eyes at me because every night right now there is a sports ball event . . . .and for those of us with serious control issues and needs for a well balanced meal every night, it’s about to send me over the edge . . .so here’s a list of this week’s “sports ball meals on the go”. Basic! But sometimes you just have to roll with basic . . .
Monday- pasta with veggies (kale, mushrooms, yellow bells) and red sauce with a side of peas.
Tuesday- “snack night” Tortilla with hummus spread, carrots, cucumbers, cheese stick, hard boiled egg, apple slices
Wednesday- Taco Bowl- Rice, beans, sautéed zucchini and bell peppers, topped with cheese, avocado slices and salsa
Thursday- Grilled chicken slices for the boys with a side of peas, my husband and I had falafel salad- these are in the deli section and really yummy! Break them up in a bowl, top with chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers, spinach, and taziki sauce.
Friday! You made it!!! Call in for PIZZA!
